My mother and I have always wanted to go into business together, but we could never fully decide on what we wanted that business to be. After planning my wedding 4 years ago, and after the confetti had landed, I realized that it HAD to be something in the wedding industry. We entertained the idea of opening a Bridal Shop, but didn’t want to start something too big, right off the bat. Over the years, and after many trips to the UK, I found myself always coming home with a new hair “fascinator” and receiving so many compliments when I would wear them to weddings and special occasions.
Last year when I was out shopping with my friend Amy for her wedding gown, she stated that she didn’t think she wanted to wear a veil, but wanted to borrow one of my hair fascinators for her wedding. I promptly replied “I’ll make you one!” Flash forward to her wedding day when we were getting our hair done at the salon. Everyone was complimenting her hair piece and telling me that I should go into business making them. And thus, Frilly Bits was born!
I can’t think of anyone I would rather work with–my mom is my best friend and we feel so thrilled and fortunate to be making beautiful pieces for beautiful brides, together. We strive to make sure that each Bride feels incredibly special and unique–just like our custom pieces and we pride ourselves on our ability to make your vision a stunning reality!
